It’s ideal for mature skin or skin dehydrated by an arid climate. Dipalmitoyl hydroxyproline, a botanically derived active, provides skin rejuvenation from the effects of stress, UV radiation, environmental damage, and aging. It stimulates the remodeling and contraction of collagen fibers, protects elastic fibers against enzyme breakdown, and scavenges free radicals for a noticeable firming effect over time. Methylsilanol mannuronate also fights free radicals by working to reorganize the membrane lipids, improving a cell’s resistance to oxidation.
